The main reason for this is that the injection pressure and shooting speed of the material cannot be reached, which slows down the flow of the material.
1. Injection mold
1) If the cold material enters the cavity, it is easy to produce wave marks. For this reason, a larger cold material well should be set at the end of the main runner and branch runner of the mold.
2) If the cross-sectional area of the gate and runner is too small, the melt cannot flow smoothly in it, and the flow rate is slow, which is easy to produce wave marks. For this, the cross-sectional area of the gate and runner should be appropriately expanded.
3) If the gate location and shape are not set properly, when the melt enters the cavity with a larger section from the narrow section of the runner, it is easy to produce turbulence, resulting in the formation of wave flow marks. For this, the gate should be set at the wall thickness The part or directly set on the side of the wall, its shape is best to use a handle, fan or diaphragm.
4) If the cooling system of the mold
Poor design causes uneven cooling and causes wave flow marks. In this regard, attention must be paid to the design of the cooling system.
